Root Beer Cookies

2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. root beer extract
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Mix margarine and sugar until well blended. Add
eggs and milk; mix well. Add root beer extract then add dry ingredients and mix
well. Put on cookie sheet by teaspoons and bake at 400 degrees for
6 to 8 minutes. When cool, frost with root beer frosting.
Root Beer Frosting
3 cups powdered sugar
1 /2 cup butter
3 Tbs. hot water
2 tsp. root beer extract
Mix all ingredients together and beat until smooth.
